Show Us Where You Live Fridays...Entryways

This week Kelly (http://www.kellyskornerblog.com/) is hosting "Show Us Where You Live Fridays" and the area is Entryways and Foyers. As you are about to see...my foyer is in my living room...haha! The price you pay to living in a smaller, older home closer to the city. My entryway is nothing exciting so I didn't bother posting a picture. Although now that I think about it, someone may have like to see the Red Sox flag and our initials that are etched in the cement on our stoop (also where great conversations with wonderful friends happen).

This is the dresser that went with my bedroom set at my parents house. It didn't fit in our bedroom so here it is! Yes, Adam's clothes are in there. I love the picture frames with our families and friends. The frames to the right are Aidan's baby pictures. The lamp is part of a set. Before we knew Adam was going to be living with me, he bought me the lamps at a store in Mt Pleasant, SC while we are down in Charleston for a weekend at the beach house. We had just started dating and could not believe he bought them for me! If you are ever in Charleston...Celadon Home is a must see! I could spend hours in there...www.celadonathome.com .
This is the table that you see right when you walk in the front door. My girlfriend Candace was sweet enough to buy my the "H" for Harvey (obviously) when Adam and I got married. Everyone harassed me because there was "D" for Decot (maiden name) there for years. Honestly, I was sad to see it go. My maiden name was special to me. Another thing special to me is the Tiffany lamp seen here. My dad bought it for me when we were out shopping together one day. At my parents house, at one point my room was all dragonfly's and the shade of this lamp has dragonfly's on it. I am crazy about my father so anything having to do with him is VERY special to me. I am very temper mental about the lamp. Ask anybody that gets too close. HAHA. Lastly, we have a key holder that you can barely see under the light switch. Nothing fancy, it just holds our keys and my purse. Pier 1...8 bucks. It really is adorable.

I started "Show us Where You Live Fridays" a little late, and now the home tours are coming to an end. I think I will continue with mine and if anyone else is interested let me know. Maybe by next week I will have my dining room repainted and can show you that! Thanks for stopping by!
