Now I Know I'm Not Alone

I love blogging so much.  I don't care how many people that don't get the "blog world"  poke fun at me.  I love it for some many reasons.  Today though I love it because I needed to know I am not alone.  I started my evening blog reading and I got over to Kelly's Korner {love, love, love her} and she wrote this post today and touched on how she had a bad day with her cutie pie Harper {also love, love, love that name for a little girl...Harper Harvey...sounds cute}.   Reading her post was like music to my ears.  Obviously I know that there are other moms out there that just have no good, horrible days with their kids but it feels really good to hear about it first hand.

Aidan has been a little out of control lately.  I get it, he's a boy.  But GAH he knows just how to push my buttons these days.  It takes everything in me to calm down and handle the situation.  Believe me I know that yelling and giving him a "love pat" {aka world's softest spank...he usually laughs} means I have lost the battle.

Last week we were in Target and I was in an aisle turned looking in one direction and Aidan reached out and knocked a ton of stuff off the shelf on the opposite side. FYI, Oxy Clean needs to make a shelf dive breakproof top.  I just couldn't walk away.  I'm not that type of person.  So, there I was on my hands and knees scooping up laundry detergent with my hands while other customers just walked over me, around me and right through the mess.  I just started to cry and then I took it out on Aidan.  He started to cry and there we were in aisle whatever it was and we were basically balling together.  Aidan finally calmed down and said "Mommy, why you crying" which immediately made me start to laugh and we kissed and made up.   Unfortunately, the crazy day didn't end there and a lot of days recently are really trying.  It's still the hardest job I'll ever love.  And I love to hear that you other moms have bad days too.

I love you Mommy Blogs.
