More Info on Baby Harvey

I know I have left you guys hanging on the details of the newest little Harvey.  So here's what I know...

I'm 13 weeks.  We have known since April 1st!   No one wants to tell people they are pregnant on April Fool's Day.  They don't believe you.  Haha!

Was this planned?  Super planned.  I saw my Dr. on March 12 for a checkup, I told her we were ready to try for #2, she gave me the go ahead and I had a positive test in my hand on April 1st.  Fast huh?  I'm not taking that for granted.  In between then and my 1st appointment, I took 6 tests. I was in shock!  I'm still in shock.  She and I had a good laugh when I was back in to see her less than 6 weeks later.

I've been sick. Really, really sick.  Like laying on the sofa all day and night sick.  I'm starting to feel a little bit better but now I have the worst heartburn and I'm dizzy.  Poor Adam is so patient but I know it's frustrating to come home to the laundry unfolded and another pizza on the counter.  Energy, anytime you want to come back, I'm ready.

Everything about this pregnancy is a thousand times different from my pregnancy with Aidan.  I am mentally preparing myself for a high maintenance baby and I'm totally game.

We have not decided whether or not we are going to find out the sex.  Sure we would love a girl, but we would love a boy too.  We are CRAZY in love with Aidan and I would be thrilled to have two boys!  My mom does ask me every time we talk about it when we'll know so I may have the ultrasound tech put it in an envelope and just give it to her.  Can't have Nana loosing sleep over pink or blue???

Aidan has a slight clue as to what's going on.  He hears us talking and obviously picks up on it.  But when we called my MIL to tell her, Adam thought it would be cute to have Aidan spill the beans and after we hung up he looked at me and said "why did we tell Grandma we are having a baby."  My Dad asks him what he thinks the new baby's name should be {William Aidan for those of you that are curious} or we'll ask him if he's excited but we really aren't pressing it.  He'll catch on when the bump shows up.

We really want to spend the next months relishing in the time we have left as a family of three.  We have got a pretty great deal going over here and while we'll miss it, we are really excited.  Of course Aidan's world is going to be turned upside down but we're confident he will be amazing and everyone knows the LOVE DOUBLES, it doesn't divide.

Last time I was pregnant, no one else was.  This time around everyone is pregnant!  Some of my favorite bloggers here in Charlotte {and everywhere else} are a few months ahead of me and I can't wait to read about all the wisdom they have to bestow on me as mom's of two! Exciting for everyone!

I think that's about it for now.  When things start getting exciting maybe I'll do a weekly preggo post. That would be fun for some and annoying at the same time.

Thanks so much for all the love on our news.  We are really, really feeling super blessed these days!

Some of you may have noticed I reactivated my Facebook account. It's primarily to keep family in the loop on our baby news, hence the announcement I posted there. As much as I've come to love my life without Facebook, it is good for communicating with the masses of family members we have spread out over the country. If you are not my friend there anymore, it's nothing personal it's just that my intention is to just post links for family to get to the blog and they make it so much easier than sending out mass emails. There is much more fun information on our lives here.

So that makes you due... mid-December? I said it before but I'm so happy for you. It's apparent how much you love Aiden and definitely are deserving of another bundle of joy! Hope you start feeling better!
