Me: Oh goodness, sorry baby. I didn't mean to do that. Are you ok?
Aidan: You hurt me.
Me: I'm sorry hunny. Want me to kiss it?
Aidan: No.
Me: No?
Aidan: Be more careful Mommy.
Me: Be more careful?
Aidan: (as he is storming off) YES!
I was like in shock he said that to me. It was too cute.

Late Night
I am finally getting a few minutes to myself and it's 1:26 am. I can't complain, I love my life but whew I'm a busy girl.
I prepared a meal for the family of the little boy in Aidan's class that lost his dad on Good Friday. I cried making the whole thing. Adam was rubbing my back as I was laying out lasagna noodles. I just kept saying over and over "I couldn't live without you, this poor, poor woman and Patrick is so young." My heart is just hurting so bad for them. I can't even think about it without crying. I can't fathom what it must be like to get in to an empty bed at night. I don't know if I updated y'all or not but Sean passed away from the Swine Flu! Can you believe it? I was shocked to find that out. Something that could have been totally prevented had it been caught in enough time. I am the worst when it comes to saying the right thing when someone is grieving like this. I wrote Cathy a little note and wanted to apologize ahead of time for my terrible cooking but she probably wouldn't think it was funny right now.
I emailed some friends I don't get to talk to often. It's so hard to have close friends far away. In a perfect world, all of my girlfriends would live in the same place, we would all get along and go everywhere together. The world is not perfect. I also got to talk to a girlfriend from high school that I used to be really close with that is expecting her first baby. I can't name names because I don't think she is telling the world yet but she called me for some advice. I felt special and it was so good to hear her voice.
I cannot believe it is already Thursday. Obviously I am looking forward to the weekend but I had every intention of meeting my friend Fizz (Meredith) for lunch this week and the days have just flown by. Rain check for next week Fizz. TCBY this weekend???
What the heck is everyone doing for Mother's Day? I am clueless as to what I should do for my mom. I had intended to get her a gift certificate to have new family photos taken but that might have to wait. If anybody has some cute ideas, send them my way! Hope you all have a great Thursday!!! Hugs.

Oopsie Daisy
I was trying to do something fancy to my blog and deleted some of my followers amongst some other things. No biggie except that's what I was using to jump back and forth to my favorite blogs. So if you want to follow go for it. If not, when I have time, I will google your blogs and hopefully find them. Thanks.

It's Complicated -Design Daydreams
Have y'all seen this movie yet?? Adam and I watched it the other night. I gotta tell you, Adam was bored. I couldn't get past how gorgeous Alec Baldwin's wife is in the movie. Seriously though, it was alright. Best part of the whole movie was Meryl Streep's house. Adam and talked about it all day today. A photo montage...
Dream HOUSE!! I love that it is one floor. I have gotten so used to living in a ranch. We love the landscaping, Spanish tile roof and swing.
The Kitchen. You will have to see the movie but our favorite part is how you can see all the way from the kitchen through the dining room in to the living room. We are huge entertainers and we would love to do it more but our house in not conducive to it. We also love a house that looks lived in and comfortable.
The wood beams on the ceiling are amazing. Adam and I daydream about owning a house with a living room that looks EXACTLY like this. The furniture is even our style.
The Master Bedroom. I loved this room but this is more of a guest room for me. I am a larger scaled furniture/master bedroom kind of gal. Adam agreed. Big. Huge. Four. Poster. Bed. Please. The colors and textures throughout the whole were perfect.
Master Bathroom. Double sinks. Check. Claw foot tub. Check. That's all I need.
Last but not least. The garden. Holy garden perfection. The entire property was just amazing.
The house alone was worth the movie. Meryl Streep helps too. I love her. She is an amazing actress. Alex Baldwin. Ehh. Really it was cute. It was realistic. Even though you work and work and work, sometimes too much has happened to save a relationship. If anyone has some extra cash and wants to give it to me, I will be building this home. Thanks in advance. xoxo
